While we provide a variety of entertainment options at each of our shows, karaoke is where we started and our fans agree that we provide a great karaoke experience. We have a great selection of high-quality music that is constantly updated. You can also bring your own karaoke songs with you to sing for us! If you like karaoke, you're going to love our show!
Our music library is completely digital, which allows us to quickly access thousands of karaoke tracks instantaneously - no more waiting for the karaoke DJ to find the disk that contains your song. As a result, our shows are fast-paced and energetic, giving even more singers an opportunity to sing their favorite tunes! However, the digital age does have its drawbacks...
If you are familiar with the karaoke industry - or even the music industry in general - you may be aware that illegal sharing and piracy of digital music files is a widespread and serious issue. This issue has had a particularly severe impact on the karaoke industry, since many unscrupulous karaoke hosts find that stealing their karaoke tracks rather than paying for them is "easy money." Lights Out Interactive Entertainment firmly believes that integrity is essential in maintaining a business, and we vow never to use stolen karaoke tracks at any of our shows.
We have thousands of unique song titles from which to choose - including selections from every genre: Classic Rock, Punk, Broadway & Movie, Pop, New Age, Heavy Metal, Grunge, Rhythm & Blues, Country, Easy Listening, Folk, Hip Hop & Rap, Jazz - just to name a few!
For the convenience of our guests, we provide well-organized and neat songbooks containing a list of all of our available tracks. If you're not sure what to sing, you can browse alphabetically by artist's name or song title. If you just can't recall who sings it or what the name of the song is, try giving our host a few lyrics from the song - we've been pretty successful in helping find that tune you're looking for!

There are many manufacturers of karaoke tracks - some better than others with regard to sound quality, reproduction of the original instrumentation, and timing accuracy and "readability" of the on-screen lyrics. If you ask any experienced karaoke singer or host, "Which is the best version of a karaoke song that you can find?" most will answer, "Sound Choice!" Sometimes I am amazed by the quality of Sound Choice® tracks - they sound almost identical to the original artist's rendition. More than 85% of my entire karaoke library is comprised of Sound Choice® tracks, and it is always my first choice when cueing a song for a singer.
Unfortunately, due to economic reasons Sound Choice® was forced to stop producing new karaoke tracks in 2009. There are still other excellent karaoke manufacturers however, and I always try to choose the newest tracks available from reputable manufacturers such as Chartbuster, Pop Hits Monthly, Sunfly, Abraxa, etc. When transferring music files from the original disc, I convert the file using the highest bit-rate available (typically 320 kbps) so that the best sound quality is maintained. What you hear from the speakers and see on the screen is exactly what the manufacturer intended.
It's true - I do have a lot of songs but I don't have all of them (yet). If you have a preferred version of a particular song or an obscure track that is difficult to find, feel free to bring your own karaoke discs (must be CD+G format) with you to the show! I can import your song to a temporary location on my computer hard drive, cue up your song, and hand your disc back to you before its even your turn to sing. Due to copyright laws I cannot maintain a copy of your song unless I purchase my own disc, so it will be deleted from my hard drive after you have finished singing. Make sure you bring your disc back with you again next time!
